avril's wedding

I am very happy for Avril, my die-hard idol. She never gets me bored of her. Congrates on her wedding. I'm sooper late I know. haha. Sorry for that. But Avril I'll continue to support you~!! LOVE YA~!!! And oh yea... she's out with her new single; Keep Holding On. Check it out. It's currently top charted in the US.

Avril Lavigne said looking back on her wedding day, " It was the biggest moment of my life." It truly was. Avril had been dreaming about this day as a little girl and fulfilled her dreams when she wed fellow singer Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 in a traditional wedding on July 15, 2006 in Montecito, CA at the age of 21.
"I almost started crying as soon as I started walking down the first set of stairs," said Lavigne. "And I just told myself: You can't cry now, it's the beginning. So I had to hold it all in and I wanted to keep my composure. And I did." In true Avril fashion, she was a "tough chick" but barely looked the part. She wore a stunning custom-made Vera Wang ivory strapless tissue organza gown with wrapped bodice and appliqu?lace beaded skirt and had a glow on her face. But I'm getting too ahead of myself.
Avril's day started out with a relaxing massage. After that, she got her hair and make-up done. "I had junk food at the hotel, sandwiches and french fries," Lavigne recalled of her diet that day. "I didn't eat very much. I had a little. I had some tuna." Finally, it came time to go to the estate where the wedding would be held. She arrived in the back of a vintage Rolls Royce and walked down the aisle in front of an intimate guest list of about 100 family and friends including her mother, father, sister, brother, and Deryck's mother and stepfather - oh, and the paparazzi, who were at the gates and hovering above the area in helicopters.
Finally, the wedding was over. As they walked back up the aisle, guests tossed rose pedals at Mr. and Mrs. Whibley. They went for a walk around the estate where they read their vows to each other that they had written themselves and went to the wedding reception. While the wedding party enjoyed cocktails, Lavigne changed into a Vera Wang ivory strapless draped Chantilly lace gown for the dinner and reception, held inside a big tent decorated with red roses and other flowers.
Guests enjoyed salmon, steak and ravioli or a selection of vegetarian options. The multi-layer wedding cake was half-chocolate, half-vanilla, reflecting the couple's different tastes. "It was huge, probably four tiers, maybe five, I didn't count," said Lavigne. "I fed myself and he fed himself, but we wrapped our arms around each other." Lavigne revealed she was particularly moved by the best man's speech (Steve Jocz, Deryck's band mate). "He was talking about when Deryck first met me, the first day he told Steve that he was in love with me...and he just told some cute stories."
Whibley removed Lavigne's garter and tossed it into the crowd, where it was caught by one of his male friends. The newlyweds first dance was to 밒ris by The Goo Goo Dolls. "It's my favourite song in the world," Lavigne explained. "it's just a pretty ballad." But the slow dance was awkward, she added. "We were on the dance floor hugging and stuff," said Lavigne. "We never really danced before. People don't really do that nowadays. The last time I really danced was at a school dance. I have danced at clubs with my friends, but as far as slow dancing goes, younger people don't go out and dance and stuff."

nanta

Last night was superb. My seniors and I went for a live performance called 'nanta'. It's a group of humans playing music. Well, that sounds so-not-cool right? But let me finished what I'm about to say. It sure is a group of homo-sapiens playing music alright. But they use kitchen stuffs such as knifes, chopping board, oven, etc... the cookery stuffs la~ haha. ok. Let me describe what happen from the beginning to the finale. But first let me introduce their characters. There's 5 people in this group; manager, chef, sexy guy, female, nephew.
The plot? They started out the performance with 4 of them(without the manager), wearing korean traditional village wear and does looks creepy with their serious faces and the dim lighting from the candle(only!). After performing some musics using plates(or should I say 'mangkuk'?) and some chopsticks(with them sitting down of course, or else they won't look that creepy. haha.), they suddenly ended the song with them turning off the lights and *poof* they suddenly jump out from nowhere and singing and jumping around and hitting the cookery stuffs and the lighting is now somewhat like disco? haha. It was fun. Then, this is when the manager came in with an order from the customer. They havta prepare dinner for a wedding couple and they havta complete by 5pm~! But by the time they got the offer it was already 2 or 3pm~! So it's a story about them rushing their way to get things ready for the wedding dinner. As they just started their busy schedule, this is where the nephew of the manager came in and mess up everything. For the rest of the story? Come and watch them yourself~!! They do tour around the world doing performance. It was a 2 to 3 hrs' live performance~! Don't miss it if they're around you~ Make sure you all watch them. Cause I guaranty that it's worth it~! REALLY! Look! I am promoting for them already. How come?
And I tell you one thing~!! The nephew is super cute and all~ *gosh * I think for the whole show, I was practically looking at the nephew only~!! And more, he don't only looked cute, he acted very cute as well~!! Well, of course he havta act cute (as in budget cute) cause it's his character. He havta BE cute! haha.
And guess what? By the end of the show, we gotta get some signatures from them and took some photos too~!! At first, I just wanted to stand beside him when we took the photos cause we took group photos that is. Then there's a korean girl, she took a solo photo with him~!! *gosh* I'm super jeles. Then my senior went, "Ni yeh chi na ken tha la" (you oso go take with him la). Then, I was like, "yau meh? paiseh la." (really meh? embarrassing la) (which I wanted desperately actually.haha.) I know I'm over-reacting ok? You don't havta tell me that. *blushed* haha. Then I REALLY went~! and of course I stand beside him (and it was a group photo ㅡ.ㅡ;;). But it was ok, as long as he's beside me. haha. Then the girl who was helping me to take the photo asked me to stand in the middle!! Then I was like~!! "NOOOOOO!!! I DON"T WANT TO!!!!!!" (ok, I didn't say that ok? It was just in my mind) I just said this, simple, plain and understand-able, "여기요" (here please) (with me pointing to my right; that's where he stood. And onemore thing, I'm out of words actually. I have no idea what I wanted to say and I just blutted out that word.) haha~! ok. I'm sorry again. I think I really am GATAL~!! Then, the funniest part, that is the other 4 members were so pissed off, they walked away from the photo place. They acted of course. It was cute. Especially the girl. She first, stand beside the nephew with her arms folded then she make this disgusted face and walked away smilling at me. hehe. She was cute. (oh. I forgot to say that, actually there's noone left to take photo with them. That's why I stepped out, hoping to get a solo photo with him) Then, I was so sorry and so ashamed of myself that I almost wanted to cry when I'm heading home. Maybe I really did make them pissed off. I mean REALLY. ㅠㅠ *sobsob* I felt so bad.

tapping with a hammer

I was reading thru blogs in friendster when I came across this one. It was written by lookkhoon, my senior. And I think this is really really important for us because many of us doesn't know where to make an effort in our lives. We often waste our efforts in tiny, useless stuffs where else we should be placing them at where it's most important. OK. Get over the nonsence and this is how it goes.
Ever heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship’s owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure out how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom. Two of the ship’s owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled put a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
What?!” the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything!
So they wrote the old man a note saying, “Please send us an itemized bill.
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer …………………… $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap ……………………… $ 9998.00
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference.

the model

Kkyai's friend came from Malaysia a few days ago and I followed them touring around Seoul these few days. Everyday's tour is like every normal tourist would do when they tour another country; taking photos, making poses, shouting here and there as if we're like orang utan which escape from a deep forest, first time entering the city, etc.
Till yesterday, we brought him to a hof nearby our house. Well, I was having my parttime job so I joined them a lil' late. It was pretty much like a normal hof; people drinking, playing games, eating, joking, chit-chatting, then it was around 12midnight when everthing turn upside-down. They started up by just taking pictures, acting as natural as they can be. (They wanted to take "natural photo" but they were actually ACTing, how could that be natural if you were acting?? But somehow they did. And proud to say, I'm one of them too. ㅡ.ㅡ;;) OK. Back to the story. They were taking photos *clickclick* here n there. Then I saw the dimped light from above me (at the ceiling of course), went under it and asked our beloved kenzie, the-fella-with-expensive-camera (dslr), to just snap a shot for me. (baget profesional la me. Got spotlight and props to accompany my photo. haha) Then he went, "wow, mei o~... dan shi ni de pose pu da mei. Kan pu tau..... blablabla" (wow, nice~.... but your pose not really nice la. Kenot c .... blablabla [I can't really remmeber what he said but it sounds pretty much like that]). Suddenly, out of no where, kkhyai's friend appeared and said, "Lai lai lai... wo ye yau yi jjang~" (Come come come, I oso wanna take a shot~). Then, he started posing and kenzie took a snap. Me, not wanting to lose, haha, coming up with pose after pose and he was getting all excited (actually we both were) and we took shot after shot *clickclick here clickclick there click here click there everywhere click click click* Then, it was time to go home. Feeling satisfied?? Yeah, I guess.... haha. And here's some of the result from my camera, Canon 700IS. That's because I haven't receive from kenzie yet. *giggles* Can't wait to see the photos taken by kenzie. hehe

2nd snooowweeeyyyyy~

Wake up tired, Saturday mornings suck.
It's way too early to catch a bus.
Why conform without a fuss?
Snowwey, Snowwey, yeah~.
I wanna make lil snow man. Woo~!!
hahahah. It's a snowwey snowwey Saturday morning~!! But like usual you see. I woke up at 12.30 in the afternoon. Morning is never my first, middle or even last name. OK. Back to the story. Being waken up by a phone call from the father of my tuition kids, it's seriously quite annoying. *click* Turning off the phone and returning to my dreamland is what I most wanted to do after answering some nonsence questions from that fella (actually I can't really remember what he asked). As I was about to dozed off in that kinda-sort-of-weirdly-cold-"morning", I suddenly heard my senior came into the room shouting, "wai main you hen tua shue, o~" (there's a lot of snow outside o~) Then I went, "huh?? sii arr?? na ni???" (huh? yea arr?? where???), without a second thought I jumped out of bed (forgeting about my most wanted wish; my beauty sleep), and ran towards the window. Then another senior went, "kuai tian wo men chi zuo snow man~!" (faster, we go make snow man~) And the whole house is like a pasar the next minute. haha. (actaully I was spending the nite over at my senior's house after a whole night "wet"ing over at their place after celebrating one of my senior's birthday. [ps: wet in chinese = lepak in malay = loiter in english])
Walking in the sooper dooper cold weather with cold, freezing wind blowing towards your face, not to mention the slippery-and-already-dirtied-ground which we were stepping, trying to control our balance, and make our way, step by step to my seniors' university. I tell you, it seriously-really IS NOT an easy one you know. *with serious face expression* And on our way, we saw this cutie. ^^*
Then, here's the product of our heart-determined-hard-to-forget-trip-to-school-to-make-snowman's SNOWMAN. *grin grin* hehe.

When I was photographing, pekfang from the other side throwing snow at me. Not really throwing, the wind was strong you see, she just picked up the snow and let it be blown towards me. Then when it was her turn, I'm the photographer and karen was the snow-scene-maker. Then, this is what happened~ hahaha~

the day after tomorrow

Since last week, everyday is a party-party-day for me and the gang of friends from Japan, of course. They're here for their a-must-enjoy-winter-break and we, the-keh-poh-gang are sacrificing all of our precious time (over reacting a lil, well... maybe "a lil" TOO much. *giggles*) accompanying them touring, round Korea. (Seoul only actually) *giggles more* And we're practically having party, gathering and stuffs almost every night which cause them to think that this is our life style as a malaysian student here in Korea. *lol* This sure is fun if everyday of my life is spent only on partying and gathering and eating and jollying and fuh~ the list goes on.... But I sometimes do think that if I were to have to go through everyday of my life on a repetitive schedule, I might killed myself cause I can't handle the boredom of repetition~ Well, it's just a "IF". I won't kill myself as I am always waiting for tomorrow, for we never know what tomorrow has to offer. That's what excites me~ ^^*
ps: actually the fellas from Japan, they're malaysian people who are currently studying in Japan as a JPA scholars, just like me. Not japanese~! But I do have A (main point; a=one) japanese friend, a guy. He IS so kawaii that he always gotten bullied by my juniors. Well, and of course from Junqi too. haha. And guess what? He never fights back or say a "no". *eyes gotten bigger* A big thank you for kkhyai for introducing him to us. *applause*
Next chapter, actually I'm here now to talk about how I spent my new year eve but the partying stuffs just gotten out of controlled and I over talked on it. OK. Gathering starts at 6pm and like usual, malaysians always reached "ON" time. So, the buying and cooking and stuffs starts practically at about 7pm. (Before we, me kenji cheau yih reach, our beloved junior named khay inn is already there at 4pm because she feared that we might reached early and there's no one there to open the door for us (it's winter, you see) which is A BIG MISTAKE~!! Then, yuichi reached there at 6pm right on the dot! But guess what? The heater's not working, so both of them cooked alcohol and of course they drank it to keep them warm. While the rest, including me that is, reached 30~45mins after 6). Then, I cooked my curry while the rest prepared stuffs which will be thrown into the rice-pot-steamboat. I guess everything settled by 8pm then we all dug in and work our best to fill our tummies to the fullest~! *burp'ed* haha. We do played games after that, then we made "tang yuan" (I know it's over already but we made it for the sake of the meaning; eat it for long life??) and I need not say what we did next. EAT again~! hehe. And chit chat a lil while, then eat, then chat, then EAT (main point-start). THEN, there we are! The highlights for tonight~! THE COUNTDOWN~!! "10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 , HAPPY NEW YEAR~!" We started shouting on top of our lungs and jumping and running and hugging each other and...... *dizzy* Then suddenly, the door was knocked. *knock knock knock* , we all paused a lil while. When I was walking to go get the door, someone whispered, "Ajumma come marah adee. We too bising liao. haha". Then, both of my legs froze a while, not dared to move a muscle and we looked at each other. (Afraid of getting the door and got scolded by the ajumma la) Then, there goes again. *knock knock knock* At last kenji went and get it. I was peeping from the living room when suddenly I heard "HAPPY NEW YEAR" and saw a pair of hands swung into the air and a smiling face, familiar-looking from behind the half-opened door. Then, the rest jumped out and we shouted back "HAPPY NEW YEAR~!!!" to our beloved, long awaited kkhyai. *grin grin* It takes quite a while for us to settled down then we continued on EATING (main point-end) asking kkhyai to stuff in everything what we can't finished earlier. Then chit chat, chit chat and chit chat, started out with what we treasured most in the year 2006, which was last year (which in reality, it's just a few minutes back!). Later, we don't know what else to do, when kenzie suddenly took out his expensive camera (a dslr) and we started taking weird photos with weird and funny and stupid faces. And most spastic of all, all of our acts and poses have got something to do with animals~! We have elephants, mouses, cows, rabbits, blablabla... Then we have talent show, doing stuffs which we think not many people can do, such as doing acrobatics acts using hands, legs and body. We really looked like spastic-over-grown-babies. *throw up* GAWD! We all KO'ed at about 4 or 5 in the morning, Jan the 1st 2007.
Ok, I think you all must have been bored reading this long no-where-to-go blog. The pictures just explain it all. Have a nice look~! ^^*
