Shock Shock Shock!

Yesterday, all malaysians had the most shocking news ever in Malaysia's history. And by 4am today, BN was declared to still be the government of Malaysia but failed to maintain the 2/3 majority seats in the parliment.
I too was shocked! (of course!) It's a new turnaround for the Malaysian government. I as a citizen of Malaysia who is also like everybody else hope for a better tomorrow. No matter what happen to Malaysia, I'm still proud to be a Malaysian. You can never find Malaysian food anywhere else! Seriously!!!! Anyway, I hope the government will change for us. Fight for us. Take care of us. Save us from any harm.
I also hope that all those bad stuffs, violent, kidnapping, killing, road bullies, snatches, theifs, etc which is happenning in Malaysia right now can be brushed away. And that starts with the LAW. (which means the police and courts) Maybe something like what had happened in Singapore, the story of a boy who had been arrested for spitting chewing gum by the roadside, must at least happen ONCE in Malaysia to make people cautious that Malaysia is strict! To take a step for a change. Then those trouble makers would then be afraid of the LAW. Even if the forfeit for a small crime had the whole world questioned about it. But open up your eyes and look at Singapore. Such a bloody clean country compared to Malaysia. That's my hope for Malaysia in this new year. (even though it's not very new anymore since it's already March right now) *haha*

Sawaddica 2008!

First of all, I wanna say sorry for the late 2008 welcoming blog entry. *blushed* I know it's already March but hey! I took the initiative to still welcome the new year 2008. *haha*
Had been busy for the whole holidays. But have no idea at all what I had been doing everyday for the past holidays. As the Korean saying goes, 눈 깜빡깜빡 싸이에 세월이 지나갔다 which means "the times passes by (so fast) in a (few) blink(s) of an(the) eye(s)" and I absolutely believe that it's so seriously true~
It feels like our juniors came just yesterday, then here we have! our new juniors... batch 83 and by the end of this year, everybody from my batch are graduating. (well, the 'everybody' will have to exclude haziq, robil, paklah, din, mira, bash, nad, juanlin, and suhuang)
My final year as a student (hopefully) here in Korea, I greatly felt that we are going to depart from each other so soon, feels like it'll be tomorrow. A feeling so strong....... It always makes me wanna go out just hang out with them whenever I had the time, like all day, all night, 24/7 till the very moment we say goodbye. No. This isn't right. It should be 'See you soon'! So, yes! that's the reason which makes me a busy person the whole holidays. Again. Just as the saying goes, 'we never know/appreciate what we have until the moment we lost them'.
And well, that's that.
Yesterday, we had just ended the orientation for our nooby juniors. As I looked at them, I remembered the time when I was standing down there, looking up at all my seniors orientating us, my batch. I seriously hated all my seniors at that moment. Just that very moment. But now I'm thanking them for making me, molding me into a stronger and a more responsible (not much, but at least a lil', yes) person than I already am. With all the tense and pressure with tough times which is something negative back then, is a positive thing that is helping me a lot right now. But note that I didn't state that what all they did back then is something that's right and is something which is acceptable. I disapproved what they all did last time but I'm pretty (or should I say very) satisfied with the orientation done last year, also this year's. So SYABAS!!
More entry to come. Stay tuned.

A beautiful Plastic pearl Neckless

Well, tomorrow is my probability final exam, the next day is microelectronics and the following is english, and environmental. And guess what I was doing today??
PART TIME!!! *haha* I thought that I was pretty much daring huh??, to take up a part time job during exam period. Maybe some of you might think I'm "money face", just like the how malaysian sayings goes~ *giggles*
Anyway, I was going through my friend's blog again today, and this story really touched me. So, I thought of sharing it with you guys~ (girls as well of course, sorry cold joke~ *giggles*).
Here it goes.
One great morning, Angie's mom brought her to a RM2 shop. In that shop obviously everything is priced RM2. Mom told little Angie,"Girl, go see what you like". So little Angie excitedly went around to look around because that place is filled with mountains of things where suddenly something caught her eyes. It was a box, and inside it was a beautiful, plastic, pink, pearl necklace.Angie's eyes sparkled as she admire that beautiful plastic pearl necklace. Then she called, "Mommy, Mommy!! It's so beautiful!! I want this!!". Her mom came up to her smilling and told her, "Well Angie, your birthday is coming up next week. If you really want it everyday safe up 10 cents, at the end of 10 days you'll have RM1, then during your birthday your grandma is gonna give you RM1, then you'll have RM2 to buy the beautiful necklace that you so longed for".
So Angie did what her mom told her to. She safe every penny and at her birthday she saved RM2. She was so happy. So mommy brought her to the RM2 shop to buy that beautiful plastic pearl necklace that Angie longed for so long. She wore her necklace proudly everyday to school, to play, to church, all except bathing time because mommy said that the pearls will turn green if it gets water. She really took great care of her beautiful plastic pearl necklace.
Then her father came back from outstation and did his usual thing, read bed time stories for little Angie. So after reading, before daddy went out, daddy teased Angie and said, "Angie, do you love daddy?". Angie replied with her sweet voice, "Daddy, you know i love you so much what...". "Then give daddy your pearl necklace la...", said this naughty daddy. Holding her beautiful plastic pearl necklace tightly near her chest, she replied, "Cannot daddy, not my necklace. Take my Barbie Doll la, not my necklace please....". so daddy smiled and leave the room with a good night kiss on her cheek.
Then the second nite after reading the bed time story to Angie, daddy teased her again, "Angie, you love daddy or not?". Angie said, "Daddy you know i love you...". "Then give me your necklace la.". "Cannot," said Angie, "Take my Big Patrick dog, but please not my necklace...". Daddy then left the room with a smile again and a good night kiss.
On the next night, dad didn't forget to go see Angie to read her her bed time story. She he went into her room, in amazement he found her sitting by her bed with her head down, looking sad. As a father he was very concern and went right away to her. Before he could reach her, little Angie lift up her little hand. It seems that her hand was holding on to something. Daddy asked, "Angie, my sweetie, is everything OK?". Angie then answer and said, "Daddy, i love you.", then she open up her hands. Daddy was moved as she was actually holding her beautiful precious plastic pearl necklace. "Daddy, this is for you, i wanted to show you how much i love you.", Angie said with a soft and sad voice.
Daddy took the necklace from her hands, sat down beside her, and reached for his back pocket. He took a velvet box out and gave it to Angie and said, "I love you too.". When Angie open it up, inside was a necklace, a pearl necklace, a precious priceless genuine pearl necklace.
The moral of the story: Just like our father, He will exchange what's precious in our life with better, greater things. Just like little Angie exchanged her precios beautiful plastic pearl necklace out of love with her father's priceless genuine pearl necklace.
Lay for yourself treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy it, and where thief do no break in to steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also...
Cool doesn't it? I love it~ *heh*
Oh yea, I was supposed to write an entry for my Hari Muhibah which I handled this year~
It was a sooperb fantastic job. And I wanna thank everyone, those who have helped and gave their support because without them, nothing's gonna work~
Loads of thanks again~

spaces

I was looking through frienster.com like usual, then I came across my ol' friend's blog and I saw this artical she found somewhere. I think it's rather interesting and I think it's kinda true. So this'll be my blog entry for today. Here you go,
Every woman knows a man needs his space. However, sometimes when you are in love with a man it's hard to give him space. You want to spend as much time as you can with him. When he's not around, you feel lonely. While a man may understand this, and you may tell him, he will still want to spend time with himself. Some men may not give a woman their space and want to spend all their time with her. So, how do you solve this problem? First, establish a day or days when you and your man can have space for yourself. Second, established a day or days when you two will do things together. This way every week there is time for each other as well as for other things. Plus, it gives you something to look forward too when your week is tiring and busy. Everyone needs space and time for themselves. When men don't get it, they usually take it. And when that happens, there is usually a woman who is being neglected.
After reading it again, I think it's VERY true~!! ^^* And maybe I'll try being a lil considerate after I've completed my degree. *giggles* Well, cause now both of us have the whOle day to have our private time. He's away in Ulsan and I'm stuck here in Seoul. Not really stuck though, I love it here in Seoul. Maybe city life is my kinda life I wanna live. ^^* *grrrins*

a day in a life

Waking up at 11 in the morning on a school holiday is JUST an unacceptable thing right?? Like I mean... you're suppose to wake up late on a school holiday!! Because we students always wake up early for classes during schooling days and why the h*** should we wake up early on a holiday?? Right?? Well, we must pampered our body a lil bit and let them rest more on a holiday; sleeping till noon. That's the favor I always do for my poor body; I let them rest more on holidays.
So, the same thing goes for this morning. I decided to let my mind and body rest a lil bit more, I continued sleeping. But an annoying phone call woke me up at 1pm. I just hate phone calls or anything that bothers my sleep. They will initially make me sleep for another 24hrs (just like what Wicit told me last night. Looks like we have something in common huh Wicit?). Neways, I answered the phone, I never kept myself away from answering phone calls except if I'm in the middle of class lessons or something important. It's 1 something I remembered and like what I've said earlier applies here. Something just bothered my SLEEP!! So, I continued sleeping... *zzzz*
After the phone call, later I realize that my old phone have an incoming sms. What an annoyance!!! I should have cut-off that line and sell that away not long after I've made an temporary cut-off line thingy. *annoyed* Instead of taking a look at the phone, what I did was I just covered myself under my thick-lovely-lil comforter and doozzed off for another like 2 hrs??
Also, awaken by the vibration of that stupid phone (and since it's already 3.30pm!!), I lazily dragged myself up from bed and clear the shit dubu had done in front of the toilet every morning. Seeing Jane right in front of the toilet waiting to use the washroom, I again lazily dragged myself out from the toilet and decided to take a look at who's the stupid sender of the stupid sms that vibrated my phone whole morning (a lil exaggerate maybe *giggles*). Written in the message box was "정제명 교수님 연구실입니다^^ 금일 면담학생은 지정된시간에~늦지 않게 오시기 바랍니다" which means "This is Sir JongJaeMyeong's Lecturer Experiment Lab. Please do not be late for today's appointment which had been arranged. ^^"
Oh SHIT!! The appointment!!! Mine's at 3.40pm!!! And the time now is 3.35pm!! I rush my lazy skinny ass to school (after changing my clothes and brushed my teeth of course). Going through that lil steel door that connects the residences' houses and the university, run all the way to that human-breath-eating rock stairs. *puffpuff* I tell you!! hah! That stairs' just like a huge vampire. The difference is that it doesn't suck your blood. BUT by just taking your breath and strength away is enough to kill you. Your heart just went weak right before you can reach the top. We called it "tangga maut" which means "stairs of the dead"(?). Back to the story, imagine. I'm running from the bottom to the top. *puffpuff* I was already half dead. Then, there's another slope towards the parking lot. Luckily I was able to catch a lil breath when I was strolling (not exactly strolling, a faster walking speed to be precise) down the parking lot.
EngiNEERing center is not NEAR at all!! It's the furthest building away compared to all the engiNEERing buildings we got here in Hanyang. Going up towards the 7th floor - 별관 which also means star building(?) *haha* releases all my stress and tensions. This was worst than a marathon race. Most important of all, this is the WORST holiday I've got!! Why would they set the appointment thing during a school holiday. Realize that it's an A holiday. ㅡ.ㅡ;;; not holidayS. *drools*
Another embarrassing moment at the school's convenient shop.
Embarrassment : I was walking home after the appointment with my lecturer and entered a convenient shop on the way. Then I saw one of my seniors. While greeting him, I graped myself a box of yogurt drink (sounds like a healthy person aren't I?), then I tore it open half way when my senior pointed at my drink. I wondered and look at it, realising that I hadn't pay for it yet, I walked towards the counter. *bury head in the ground* Humiliating. That's the word that describes that situation best.
Comfort'ment : Well, actually I was talking to my senior at that moment. So without me realising, I tore it open. It's not that weird to do that you know cause my mind was somewhere else. And tearing open the yogurt drink is just a normal effect when u got something in your hand. Moreover, I just ran all my way to the laboratory so I was panting and tired and thirsty. It's TOTALLY a natural thing to do if you got drinks in your hand. So, overall it's not very humiliating after all. ^^*

dump? no dump?

I was going through my friend's blog and I came across this. I thought that it is kinda really true. So, I just wanna share this with all of you, especially you girls. It is said that this is an artical taken from Yahoo! cool huh? So, here it is.
This won't come as news to women: Men aren't all that good about breaking up. Sometimes a man will half-heartedly try ("things just aren't clicking"). Sometimes a man will force you to make the first move ("well, if you think things aren't working out then"). Sometimes a man will stew in a bad relationship for years before actually having the guts to break it off. Why? For lots of reasons -- one of them being that many men, even if they don't like the relationship anymore, don't want to be immortalized (to you and all your friends) as The Bad Guy. Not an excuse, but it's what men tend to do. When you consider a recent national survey showing 21 percent of men say they're on the lookout for a better relationship while they're in a relationship -- then it's all the more important that women know the signs of a guy who's looking for the exit before he's even in the room.

Dump-worthy: He ignores
Not dump-worthy: He doesn't listen

There is a difference. The way I see it, the guy who doesn't listen is the guy who spaces out on TV when a woman is asking if he liked that night's chili. A guy who doesn't listen is a guy who forgets to cap the toothpaste despite the fact he's been told 12 times in the last six days. Annoying? Sure. Deal-breakers? No. On the other hand, a guy who ignores is the kind of guy who always puts himself first by ignoring the things that are important to you-like chronically forgetting an anniversary or birthday, or not asking how a doctor's appointment went, or choosing his golf game over her family get-together. Once in a while may be fine, but when it happens all the time, it means that his priorities don't include you.

Dump-worthy: He has two cell phones (one of which you didn't know about)
Not dump-worthy: He won't tell you his password

Oh, if I had the surefire formula for catching a cheater, I'd be using 100-dollar bills as napkins. While cheating is, in many cases, the obvious relationship-ender, the trickier issue is gathering up the signs that a guy is indeed borrowing sugar from the neighbor. I will tell you this: A guy who's protecting his e-mail password isn't necessarily cheating; he just thinks that there still should be some semblance of his privacy (plus, he's not too keen on you seeing the internet photos his co-worker buddy may have sent over). But when a guy hasn't told you about an extra cell phone, it's a pretty likely sign that there's somebody calling it who darn well shouldn't be.

Dump-worthy: He won't apologize
Not dump-worthy: He goes silent

A man who clams up during a fight or a discussion isn't necessarily just trying to make you mad (though some are). He's thinking, he's debating, and he's being cautious about what he says -- because he knows you're listening (and perhaps ready to pounce on his arguments). A guy will eventually open up, if you can give the issue some time to settle down, or even approach him in a setting where he's more comfortable talking (like the car). The real power play comes not from the silent treatment, but from a man who can't utter a "sorry"; that's not only a sign of stubbornness, but a sign he's not ready to give any ground. If he's not willing to show a little weakness early in the relationship, chances are it'll only grow worse as the relationship grows -- if it even gets that far.
